"Joe was absolutely remarkable. Joe helped me recently close on a home and get engaged on the same day and I owe my world to both him and the Meyer Lucas team! We found an amazing home thanks to his persistence and absolutely amazing local and home expertise. He walked through every house like a detective and unlocked a ton of learnings about the houses we were looking at and what my fiance and I wanted in our home. When I went to sign on our house, Joe stayed behind a bit and moved a 300-400 lb obstruction out to the front of the yard because it was actually impacting the view of the house and my upcoming proposal when we pulled up. I’ll also never forget a low point in our home search when I called him and he sat on the phone with me for over 45 minutes talking me through how it goes, how to remain positive, and how to really evaluate what was important in our house. That pep talk led to us finding our home just a week or two later! Outside of the soft skills of being a realtor, he negotiated down the price of our home to a level that was advantageous to us, secured a last-minute cash bonus the day of signing (that allowed us to repaint the inside of the whole house, and strip the yard of years of overgrowth) and he had the sellers replace copper plumbing, a water heater, fix a generator and a host of other things they initially didn’t want to do. I work in negotiations and don’t think I would hassle Joe. He has a strong backbone and eye for how to negotiate and deal with others. I hope I don’t have to work with a new realtor for a while but I know who I’ll call Joe, Jennie, and the crew at Meyer-Lucas.
