One of the team’s favorite sales, 18764 SE Jupiter River Drive is getting some press and was featured in the esteemed and national publication, Mansion Global!
From Mansion Global, Former Major League Baseball pitcher Steve Cishek built this coastal modern farmhouse as a primary residence to raise his three young daughters.
Mr. Cishek, 36, said that he and his wife, Marissa, drew upon the many places they called home during his career to design details of the Jupiter house, he told Mansion Global.
“The walk-through shower, for example, was inspired by one of our spring training homes, while the bridge above the stairs, the Jack and Jill kids’ rooms and countless other details were things we encountered over the years and wanted to incorporate into this home,” he said.
The Cisheks bought the property in 2019 for $650,000, according to property records, and listed it with Holly Meyer Lucas of Compass in February and found a buyer within a few months. It closed earlier this month for $4.1 million.
“The house was designed with the post-pandemic, family-work flow dynamic in mind,” Meyer Lucas said. “It’s flexible enough both for a young family and for snowbirds with grandkids.”
She noted that most of the other houses in the neighborhood, known as the Moorings within Jupiter River Estates, date to the 1970s and 1980s. “This house maintains the traditional charm but is a new design that does a good job of fitting in with the architecture in the neighborhood,” she said.
Meyer Lucas said the Cisheks have decided to move to another house in the area.
