The Bear's Club is a private, guard-gated golf community in Jupiter, Florida, founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus. It sits on about 369 acres on the north side of Donald Ross Road, west of US-1 and about a mile from the Atlantic. The community has roughly 90 to 100 residences, including about 55 custom estates, around an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus course that was renovated in 2023.
Most residences are custom estates on large homesites facing the golf course or the community's lakes. The Golf Villas, attached townhome-style residences, and the Club Villas, condominiums near the clubhouse, offer smaller lock-and-leave options inside the same gates. Listings in fall 2026 ranged from about $5 million for villas to more than $50 million for estates.
Jack Nicklaus designed the course, which was renovated in 2023. The club's membership includes a number of PGA Tour professionals. A Tuscan-style clubhouse anchors the club's dining and social life.
