Today is National Friendship Day! What better way to celebrate than a night out with your girlfriends?! Whether you’re looking for a low-key and more intimate setting, or a fun, lively setting, we got you covered! Read on for some ideas of fun activities to do to celebrate National Friendship Day!
Paint and Sip
Located right off of Indiantown Road is Uptown Paint and Sip. This place is the perfect location to relax and spend some quality time with friends while painting and sipping some wine. On Saturday, the painting class will be based on a beautiful photo of blue skies over the ocean. This class runs from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and is currently $29 if you register in advance, which is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome, but not guaranteed a spot and the fee to enroll at that time will be $32. Seating is first come first serve, so come early to get a great spot for you and your girls! The bar serves beer, champagne, seltzer and wine, but guests are welcome to BYOB for a corkage fee of $7!
2. Happy Hour at Bodega
Head on over to Bodega Taqueria y Tequila off of Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach for Happy Hour from 5 pm to 8 pm! Classic margaritas and well drinks are $7 and Tequila shots and draft beer are $5. Treat yourself to chips and guac for $5 or a classico taco for $3 each! The Happy Hour Menu also offers the Fiesta Tower, a sampler of Elote, Yuca Frita Quesadilla, Nachos, and Chili Queso, Salsa Ranchera and Guacamole. This dish can feed 4 people for $65! After happy hour, check out the rest Clematis has to offer!
3. Paddle Board in Jupiter
For those that are more the outdoorsy type, check out Blueline Surf & Paddle Co. in Jupiter! Located right off of A1A, this spot is the epitome of #JupLife! Paddleboards are available for as little as 1 hour for $20 up to 8 hours for $80! If paddleboards aren’t your thing, there are also single and kayaks available for rental! Spending the day on the water with good company is always a recipe for a great day! Just make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen because the Florida sun is no joke!
4. Bike & Lunch on the Island
Palm Beach Island is world renowned for having some of the most beautiful views, so why not go for a morning bike ride and soak it all in! Ride along S Ocean Avenue and enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze. After working up an appetite, ride over to The Sandwich Shop at Buccan at the corner of Australian Avenue and S County Road for some lunch! This restaurant is one of our favorite spots in Palm Beach!
5. Drive Shack
Looking for some fun and friendly competition? Check out Drive Shack in Downtown West Palm Beach! Drive Shack adds a fun twist to golfing with 5 different games you can play, such as Darts, Monster Hunt, and BlackJack to name a few. You can also choose from several real-life golf courses to play at virtually. Prices range from $27/hour to $47/hour depending on the time of day. There is also a full menu of drinks and food available. We recommend the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings! Make sure to book in advance while there’s still bays available!
