If you’ve never heard of an acai bowl and you live in South Florida, then you must be living under a rock because these cold sweet treats are all the rave in this hot Florida heat! For some background: Acai bowls are made from açai berries from Brazil and whipped into a sorbet or smoothie consistency and topped with fruits and granola, and they are completely healthy! Check out these five acai bowl shops near you to see just what all the hype is about!
Juice Stop
Juice Stop is one of the newest acai places in Jupiter, Florida, and has a really neat vibe different from other acai shops in town. Juice Stop is owned by a wife and husband from New York and is named after the subway; you will see that their menu reflects the subway’s map. Along with acai bowls, Juice Stop offers salads, wraps, toasts, smoothies, parfaits, and more. When you go, make sure to sit in the swing chairs; they’re so fun!
2. Soul Rebel
Locals may know this one as Rock Steady, since rebranding and changing their name after seven years. Soul Rebel is a staple acai bowl shop here in Jupiter, and if you haven’t checked out their renovated shop, you definitely should do so. The shop now has an earthy, hippie vibe to it now, and it is so cute! They are located in the same plaza as Cinepolis, so it’s perfect to stop by here and grab some to-go acai bowls with your friends to bring to the beach!
3. Elements Frozen Yogurt Shoppe
Elements is another convenient acai shop close to the beach, located in the Publix plaza across from Juno Beach, this is a great spot to cool down with an acai bowl after a long hot beach day. Elements is more known for being a frozen yogurt shop, but also offers boba teas, smoothies, and coffee. Elements truly covers every “element” of cold treats!
4. Crux Coffee Roasters
Okay, I know what you’re thinking — isn’t this a coffee shop and not an acai bowl shop? Well, why can’t it be both? Crux not only sells amazing coffee (You can buy coffee beans there too!) and breakfast options, but they also serve delicious acai bowls. The cool touch about Crux’ acai bowls is that they come with a surprise chocolate espresso bean, and it is a sweet surprise for sure! Next time you find yourself in downtown Abacoa, make sure to try Crux’ acai bowls, and grab a coffee while you’re at it.
5. 3 Natives
Last but not least, 3 Natives is a Jupiter favorite when it comes to acai bowls. The first 3 Natives was opened in Tequesta, Florida, but there are now seventeen 3 Natives across Florida. They believe in healthy, easy, and fast options, and along with their delicious acai bowls, they also offer smoothies, coldpresses, wraps & salads, and bagels. You’ve got to try 3 Natives while here in Jup, and you might even run into Jupiter native Tyler Cameron who raves about 3 Natives and is even opening up one not too far in Delray Beach!
Now that you know all about acai bowls and the best places to get them, you will definitely be hooked. These refreshing treats make the Florida heat a little more bearable, and the best part is they are extremely healthy. Comment your favorite acai shop in the Jupiter area!
