Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches: 2027 Dates, Tickets and the Bear Trap
What to know about the PGA TOUR’s stop at PGA National, from the Bear Trap to hospitality and community programs.
The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches returns to the Champion Course at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens with tournament rounds Thursday, February 25, through Sunday, February 28, 2027. The PGA TOUR event, known for decades as the Honda Classic, brings top players and big weekend crowds, and you don’t have to be a golf fan to enjoy a day out there.
The Cognizant Classic has been a pillar of the community for over 50 years. The tournament shines a spotlight on initiatives that help our neighborhoods thrive. Its community programs include the Hometown Heroes Program, which honors local service members and first responders; the Equipment Grant Program that supports under-resourced golf programs in South Florida; and the Birdies for Charity fundraising platform, which raises money for local charities.

Ticket options run Wednesday through Sunday, February 24 to 28, 2027. Daily grounds tickets give you access to several open-to-the-public venues, local food from South Florida favorites and a spot along the rope line to watch the best players on the PGA TOUR. Check the tournament site for current ticket options, since packages and pricing change each year.
Upgraded ticket options include the Bear Trap, an open-air hospitality area at holes 16 and 17. The Bear Trap is the famously tough closing stretch of holes 15, 16 and 17 on the Champion Course, and it’s where much of the tournament’s energy ends up on the weekend. You can also upgrade to the CIBC Champions Club, which overlooks the 17th hole with prime seating and food and beverage options.

For those looking for a more luxurious experience, the Cognizant Classic’s hospitality offerings are designed with easy parking, smooth entry to the event, and handpicked food and drink menus. The Palm Suites sit at the 18th green, and the Shoreline Suites overlook the final hole. For a front-row seat at the Bear Trap, the Ross Cabanas look out over the 17th hole, and the Flagler Tables overlook the 16th and 17th, which makes them a good fit for entertaining clients or spending the day with friends.
Want to see players up close? The practice areas and the putting green are the best spots to catch them before and after their rounds. Bring a camera, wear comfortable shoes, and plan on spending some time near the Bear Trap, where the final three holes of the back nine can swing a tournament.
