New Restaurants in Jupiter and Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County keeps adding restaurants worth the drive, from Jupiter and Tequesta down to Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. We start with six restaurants that opened since late spring, then cover a few more recent openings that are still drawing crowds. Fall is the easiest time to get a table before seasonal residents fill the reservation books, and hours change often in a restaurant’s first months, so check each site before you go.

Opened Since Late Spring

Little Moir's Sweet Fish – Jupiter

Little Moir's Sweet Fish opened May 18 at 6390 W. Indiantown Road in Chasewood Plaza, at the corner of Central Boulevard. It comes from Michael Moir, the owner of Little Moir's Food Shack, with partner Drew Shimkus, and the menu is seafood-forward with a Southern lean. Start with a round of the seafood tapas, then try the Okeechobee seafood stew. It's open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 9:30 p.m., closed Sunday, and you can join the waitlist online before you head over.

Vinny's Cafe – Jupiter

The Boca Raton wrap shop known for its chopped chicken Caesar wrap has a second location at 5440 Military Trail in Abacoa Plaza. Vinny's Cafe is a quick lunch stop, open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the Caesar wrap is the order most people come in for.

Smoke & Maple Gastropub – Palm Beach Gardens

Smoke & Maple opened October 12 at Avenir Town Center, 12325 Northlake Boulevard, Suite 130, in the Avenir community. HOLD Hospitality Group runs the gastropub, and bourbon is a big part of the draw: there's a bourbon and whiskey club with rare barrel picks. The kitchen is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m., with happy hour daily from 4 to 6 p.m. Reservations are through SevenRooms, and bar seats are first come, first served.

Tequesta Smokehouse – Tequesta

Tequesta Smokehouse serves Central Texas–style barbecue inside Tequesta Brewing Co. at 287 U.S. Highway 1. Owner Mark Campbell, who also owns Hog Snappers, soft-opened it in late July, and the meat comes off two 1,000-gallon offset smokers. Order the orange-glaze burnt ends, and go early, since items sell out every day. Food is served Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., and the smokehouse asks for three days' notice on specialty meal pre-orders.

Pastis – West Palm Beach

Stephen Starr brought his New York brasserie to the Nora District when Pastis West Palm opened with the Nora Hotel on October 19. It's at 1115 N. Railroad Avenue, and the menu sticks to French brasserie classics like steak frites. Reservations are on Resy. 'O Munaciello – West Palm Beach

'O Munaciello opened its West Palm Beach pizzeria in May at 8170 Okeechobee Boulevard, Suite 1. The Neapolitan restaurant's Miami locations appear on the 50 Top Pizza USA list, and the order to share here is the pizza al metro, a half-meter pie you can split into three flavors. Black dough and gluten-free dough are available for an upcharge. It's open Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and weekends from noon to 9 p.m., closed Monday, with reservations on OpenTable.

More Recent Openings Worth a Visit

Arthur & Sons – Jupiter

The New York red-sauce restaurant Arthur & Sons now has a Jupiter location on U.S. Highway 1. Expect Italian-American classics, big family-style portions and a loud, lively dining room. Reservations are on Resy, and it’s open for dinner nightly.

Stanza – Palm Beach Gardens

Stanza is an intimate cocktail lounge hidden inside Lynora’s on Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens. It’s a spot for a drink after dinner more than a meal, with a creative cocktail list and a speakeasy feel. It’s open Wednesday through Saturday evenings and is 25 and over.

PopUp Bagels – West Palm Beach

PopUp Bagels built a following in Connecticut with its “grip, rip and dip” approach: hot bagels served whole with schmears on the side. The West Palm Beach shop on Hibiscus Street downtown has become a regular weekend breakfast run.

Coco – Palm Beach

Coco is the restaurant at The Vineta Hotel on Cocoanut Row in Palm Beach, serving lunch and dinner. It’s an easy pick for a meal on the island before or after an afternoon on Worth Avenue.

West Palm Cowboy Club – West Palm Beach

Clematis Street got a country-themed bar with West Palm Cowboy Club, a night-out spot in downtown West Palm Beach more than a dinner reservation.

BuddhaBerry – West Palm Beach

The Hamptons frozen yogurt shop BuddhaBerry is now open at 417 S. Rosemary Avenue in CityPlace, with frozen yogurt, smoothies, crêpes and waffles. It’s open until 10 p.m. most nights and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes it an easy stop after dinner downtown.

Ela Curry & Cocktails and Mango Mercado, both from Chef Pushkar Marathe, are adding CityPlace locations this fall. Both already have locations on Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens.
Indaco will serve house-made pasta and wood-fired pizza at 905 N. Railroad Avenue in the Nora District.
Hacienda, a food hall from Subculture Group, is coming to 522 Clematis Street.
Éléphante, the Mediterranean restaurant group, lists a Palm Beach location as coming soon.
