Jupiter home prices by ZIP code and budget, plus what to expect for property taxes, insurance and closing costs in 2026.

Short answer: the median sale price in Jupiter, Florida was about $715,000 in August 2026 across all home types, up roughly 15% from a year earlier, according to Redfin. Single-family homes run higher. In the main 33458 ZIP code, the median single-family sale was $1,075,000 in the second quarter of 2026, while condos and townhomes in the same ZIP sold for a median of $400,000.

That spread is the real story in Jupiter. You can buy a condo near the Intracoastal for under $500,000 or an oceanfront estate well into eight figures, and the town's neighborhoods cover almost every step in between. Here's how prices break down in 2026, plus the costs that come with owning here: taxes, insurance and closing.

What Your Budget Buys in Jupiter

Under $500,000: mostly condos and townhomes, including older Intracoastal and near-beach buildings. It's the most common entry point for first-time buyers and seasonal owners.

$650,000 to $900,000: entry-level single-family homes, usually in non-gated neighborhoods, 1980s to 2000s builds or smaller floor plans. Jupiter Heights and parts of Abacoa are good places to start.

$1 million to $2.5 million: Jupiter's sweet spot for updated homes, gated communities and golf communities. Look at Egret Landing, Rialto, Tuscany at Abacoa and Jupiter Country Club.

$3 million and up: waterfront and Intracoastal homes, club estates and the most private enclaves in town, including Admirals Cove, The Bear's Club, Jupiter Inlet Colony, Pennock Point and Jupiter Island.

What Moves the Price of a Jupiter Home

The Costs Beyond the Purchase Price

Property taxes. Your bill combines county, school, district and town rates. The Town of Jupiter's own operating rate was 2.3894 mills for fiscal 2025–26, and the town has proposed a higher rate for 2026 to fund the new Jupiter Fire Rescue Department, which would replace the fire line on current tax bills. Check the Town's millage page for the final adopted rate. If the home is your permanent residence, Florida's homestead exemption takes up to $51,411 off its assessed value for 2026, and the Save Our Homes cap limits annual increases in assessed value to 2.7% for 2026.

Homeowners insurance. The average Palm Beach County homeowners premium was $6,323 a year with wind coverage, according to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation's July 2026 report. Premiums have started to ease as more private insurers return to the state, but your number depends on the home's age, roof, windows and flood zone, so get quotes before you write an offer.

Closing costs. Buyers in Palm Beach County typically budget about 2% to 3% of the price. With a mortgage, that includes documentary stamp tax on the note ($0.35 per $100 borrowed), intangible tax (0.2% of the loan), the lender's title policy, and lender and inspection fees. By local custom the seller usually pays for the owner's title policy and the deed stamps, though everything is negotiable in the contract.

On the ballot. Florida voters will decide Amendment 3 on November 3, 2026. It would raise the homestead exemption from non-school property taxes to up to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028, and lower the cap on non-homestead assessment increases from 10% to 5%. The Property Appraiser's Amendment 3 calculator shows what it would mean for a specific home.
