Jupiter's holiday season runs from Friday, Dec. 4, through Dec. 19 this year, with two tree lightings, a lighted boat parade, a snow day in Abacoa, four nights of luminaries at the lighthouse and the 50th JTAA Holiday Parade. Here's every 2026 event we've confirmed around Jupiter, in date order, with times, locations, costs and a few tips for parking and crowds.

Holiday Events Around Jupiter at a Glance

Town of Jupiter Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday, Dec. 4

The Town of Jupiter lights its tree on the Town Green at the Jupiter Municipal Campus, 210 Military Trail, from 5 to 7 p.m. Expect school performances, music and a countdown to the lighting, with food from June Coffee, Sunset Slush, Chick-fil-A and Bunnboh Churros. The town doesn't list an admission fee, and it asks guests to leave pets at home. Details are on the Town of Jupiter event page.

Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade – Saturday, Dec. 5

The 32nd annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade leaves North Palm Beach at 6 p.m. and travels up the Intracoastal, led by a traveling fireworks display, reaching the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse for the finale around 8 p.m. It runs rain or shine, it's free to watch, and it doubles as a toy drive for Toys for Tots and Little Smiles, so bring a new, unwrapped toy.

Plan your night: the boats pass the Donald Ross Road bridge around 7 p.m. and reach Jupiter closer to 8, so Juno Park and Bert Winters Park in Juno Beach see the boats earlier in the evening. Our guide to 10 places to watch the Holiday Boat Parade lists bridge times and viewing spots from Palm Beach Gardens to the Jupiter Inlet.

Palm Beach Gardens Tree Lighting and Santa Photos – Saturday, Dec. 5

If your kids want a photo with Santa, the Palm Beach Gardens Tree Lighting is the easiest stop on the calendar. It runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court North. Santa arrives on a fire truck, the tree lights at 5:45 p.m., and free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus run from 6 to 7 p.m. There's also a synthetic ice rink, inflatables and food trucks, and admission is free.

Plan your night: this falls on the same evening as the boat parade. You can catch the tree lighting and Santa photos first, then head to a spot along the Intracoastal in time for the boats.

Luminary Nights at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse – Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum hosts Luminary Nights on two December weekends, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12, and Friday and Saturday, Dec. 18 and 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 500 Captain Armour's Way. The evenings include local artisans, live entertainment, a light tunnel and the illumination of the ficus tree on the grounds. Tickets are required and proceeds support the lighthouse, so buy them on the museum's site before you go.

There's Snow Place Like Jupiter – Saturday, Dec. 12

The Town of Jupiter brings a winter afternoon to Abacoa with There's Snow Place Like Jupiter, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Abacoa Community Park, 1501 W. Frederick Small Road. The event is free.

50th JTAA Holiday Parade – Sunday, Dec. 13

The Jupiter-Tequesta Athletic Association's Holiday Parade marks its 50th year with a 1 p.m. step-off from the UF Scripps lot at 120 Scripps Way. The route heads north on Central Boulevard past Main Street and University Boulevard, then turns onto Frederick Small Road and ends at the skate park at Abacoa Community Park. It's free to watch.

Plan your afternoon: road closures begin at 12:45 p.m. Free parking is available in the two Downtown Abacoa garages, the garage by the Marriott, and on Main Street and University Boulevard. The parade organizers ask spectators not to park in resident spaces.
