Palm Beach and West Palm Beach are adding restaurants faster than either city has in years. Here is what is opening, where, and when, organized by neighborhood.
Chef Pushkar Marathe is bringing two concepts to CityPlace this fall: Ela Curry & Cocktails, a modern Indian restaurant built around curries and street-food-inspired plates with a creative cocktail program, and Mango Mercado, a globally inspired café from Marathe and Andy Dugard serving sandwiches, soups, salads, and seasonal dishes. BuddhaBerry, an expansion of the Hamptons frozen yogurt concept offering frozen yogurt, smoothies, crêpes, and waffles, rounds out the additions.
The Nora Hotel is turning into one of the area's bigger restaurant stories on its own. Stephen Starr is bringing Pastis, his New York French brasserie, for a Parisian-inspired take on classic French dishes, opening this fall. Indaco follows with rustic Italian cooking, house-made pasta, wood-fired pizza, and an Italian wine list, set for late 2026. Vesta, a wine-focused restaurant built around seasonal American cooking, takes over the former Juliana's Pizza space, also opening late 2026. Nami Nori, the New York-based temaki hand roll concept known for its casual, counter-style service, rounds out the hotel's dining lineup with a 2027 opening.
SubCulture Group is opening Hacienda, a 13,000-square-foot food hall with multiple food and drink concepts under one roof, rooftop seating, and an outdoor patio, this fall downtown. Ketchy Shuby, a New York restaurant and nightlife concept combining dining, cocktails, and a rooftop component, is set for the same timeline. The Daily Focaccia, a locally owned Italian focacceria built around fresh focaccia sandwiches, joins the fall openings as well. At 301 Clematis Street, Taquería Carnalito pairs a straightforward taco restaurant with Tragos Amargos, a hidden cocktail and listening bar behind it, both opening in 2027.
Palm Beach is adding several concepts of its own. Éléphante, a Mediterranean restaurant with an adjacent market and bakery, is coming to Royal Poinciana Way. Avenue 31 brings a Monaco-born European dining concept to the island. Gab's Organics is converting a historic gas station into a home for chef-driven, grab-and-go meals and coffee. Stephen Starr is also behind Room Service, a steakhouse pairing steaks with comfort-food favorites planned for 151 Worth Avenue, though that one is likely a 2027 or 2028 opening. Church Mouse Coffee, a grab-and-go counter inside The Church Mouse featuring Pumphouse Coffee, rounds out the island's additions. Opening dates for several of these are still to be determined.
The Flamingo Park neighborhood is becoming a dining destination in its own right, with ten restaurants planned: Niwa, a Japanese-Latin fusion concept opening late 2026; Midorie, focused on sushi and rice bowls; Rueshaw, an elevated Florida ranch steakhouse; Pumphouse Donuts, for coffee and donuts; Döner Haus, serving German döner kebabs; Salt & Sugar, a French café built around crêpes; Martha's, a Spanish tapas and wine bar; Rakki Hi-Fi, a vinyl listening bar with cocktails; Pizzeria Luca, for pizza and handmade pasta; and Deia Casa, a Balearic Mediterranean restaurant. Together they'd give the neighborhood one of the densest, most varied restaurant rows in the area.
A handful of additional openings round out the fall lineup: Parma Palm Beach, an Italian-inspired all-day café in SoSo built around focaccia and sourdough sandwiches; a second Drift Cafe location on South Dixie Highway; Naked Farmer, a build-your-own bowl concept at Tanger Outlets; Smalls Sliders, a cheeseburger and shake spot on Southern Boulevard that plans to be the first of several locations; Aleeza, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant from Matthew and Aliza Byrne in the South End; and a West Palm Beach location for Kimchi Mart, the Asian grocery known for its prepared foods.
A restaurant pipeline this deep doesn't happen without real estate demand backing it up. Restaurant groups run the numbers on foot traffic, rent, and population growth before signing a lease, and a cluster like Flamingo Park's ten-restaurant buildout is a clear signal about where operators expect people to be living and eating over the next few years.
